Today's image is the very special dedication to Lord Ganesha for Ganesha festival, Lord Ganapati created by finger painting.

My heart was chanting this verse and finger was creating Ganesha. You must have heard this verse at the beginning of any Puja.
For offering Kumkum Tilak, Ashtagandha to Bhagwanji's Murti, according to traditions, ring finger is used. So, I thought to use the same finger for the 'GaneshPuja by finger painting' today. Also color used is similar to auspicious Kumkum color.
The first name of Ganeshji in the above verse, Sumukha, means Divine Face. My mind was thinking about His Sumukha Rupam today. Just like most of my poems, this painting is also created by the grace of Lord Ganesha.
Thank you Ganapati Bappa for accepting my simple feelings.
